Mr Moet’s sire to do well with first NSW progeny

LORD WIVENHOE

A James Curtain conditioned gelding who streeted his opposition in winning a juvenile trial at Toowoomba by margins of 5.0 lengths and 5.3 lengths, could go on and be the first winner got by his powerfully bred America produced sire Mosayter since he transferred from Western Australia four years ago and became the foundation sire at Louise Ellis’ Argyle Thoroughbreds Stud, Four Mile Creek Road, Panuara, Orange NSW.

It was a move that coincided with the emergence of good gallopers sired by Mosayter from books of modest size and quality serviced in six seasons in the West. On Arion statistics, this use has resulted in 85 starters, 33 winners and 15 others placed.
