Argyle’s Mosayter Sires Yet Another Winner

Argyle’s Mosayter Sires Yet Another Winner
From BREEDING AND RACING

Argyle Thoroughbreds’ Gr1-producing stallion Mosayter (Storm Cat-Bashayer, by Mr Prospector) has been in a rich vein of form of late siring 4 winners in the past eight days. Yesterday at Wagga, 4YO gelding Zorba became the latest winner for the son of Storm Cat when scoring an easy 2-length win in a 3YO maiden plate over 1300 metres.

Prepared by Kerry Weir, Zorba’s victory carried special significance as he was bred and sold by Argyle principal Louise Ellis as a 3YO. Other winners sired by Mosayter recently include 4YO mare Missy Rhythmos at Parkes, 3YO filly Absolute Ripper at Narromine, and 3YO gelding Dominant Storm at Grafton. Mosayter, best known as the sire of Gr1 WATC Railways Stakes winner Mr Moet, stands at Argyle Thoroughbreds in Central NSW at a fee of $6,600 inc GST.
